What products does Tea Journeys offer?

We have a variety of loose-leaf teas including black, green, oolong, pu'er, white and yellow teas and a range of popular and signature blend herbal tisanes to suit any palate. We also offer a range of drinking chocolates, chai, matcha, and teaware to suit all of your needs.

Does your drinking chocolate have dairy or milk solids?

Our Kakaoda range of drinking chocolates are completely dairy-free, made with natural organic cacao, blended with panela sugar and Murray River salt to create an outstanding chocolate experience. White Snow does include milk solids.

Are your products vegan-friendly?

All of our products are vegetarian friendly, but our Stickichai has honey and the White Snow has milk solids. All other products are completely vegan-friendly.

How do I speak with customer service?

Do you send samples to cafes or stores that would like to stock Tea Journeys teas?

We can definitely send you some samples to try before you buy! Please contact info@teajourneys.com.au or call us on1800 355 182 and speak to one of our friendly staff and they can arrange that for you. All we ask is that you pay the $10 postage.

How can I purchase Tea Journeys tea?

You can purchase our tea directly through our online store, you can phone us at 1800 355 182 or email us anytime, day or night, at orders@teajourneys.com.au. We will freight your tea straight to your door!

What happens once I place my order?

Once orders are received you should receive a confirmation email, if you don't receive that please contact orders@teajourneys.com.au with your order details so the warehouse manager can follow it up.

How long till my items are dispatched from the warehouse?

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. Generally, all orders received by email or phone by 9 AM on any business day, can be dispatched the same day.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may also be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be any significant delays in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone and let you know.

I'm local to the South Coast, can I pick up my items?

Our warehouse is located in Nowra and pick-up can be arranged between 9 AM - 2:30 PM between Monday-Friday. Please call 1800 355 182 or email info@teajourneys.com.au to arrange prior to coming in as the warehouse not always staffed.

Where do you source your tea?

All our products are sourced from small farms dotted all around Asia. When our customers buy from Tea Journeys they can be assured that they are buying organically grown teas from family managed farms at the source. We have a logistics hub in China, Sri Lanka, and India who consolidate all the ordering processes we have with the farmers. They pack it in accordance with our needs, and air freight directly to us.

How long does your tea stay fresh?

Short answer. It depends on the tea and how it is stored. To keep your teas fresh, always store them well-sealed in a cool, dry, and dark place and generally as a guideline we recommend consuming within 3 years of purchase.

How much caffeine is there in a cup of tea?

There are many things that affect the caffeine content of your cup of tea including water temperature and steeping time. However, can guarantee that our herbal teas are caffeine-free.

What are the brewing temperatures and steep time for your teas?
How should I store my tea?

Keep it cool and dry in a sealed container (under 25'c), away from the stove and out of the fridge or freezer. Best to keep it away from any strong-smelling items. Generally, an airtight container such as our self-sealing canisters is best.

Do you take returns?

At Tea Journeys we take customer satisfaction very seriously, if any of our products do not meet your expectations please email us at info@teajourneys.com.au with a copy of your order, reason for the return, and photo of products (if damaged). Please ensure you contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods and we will guarantee the exchange of damaged items. Please note that we cannot take back tea products once the heat seal has been damaged.

Please email mark@teajourneys.com.au and include the details of the event and what you would require. Please keep in mind that we are often overwhelmed with requests for samples and at times we won't have sufficient stock on hand to be able to supply every request.
